About this set

  • First ever published model of the Messerschmitt Me 163B.
  • The original of this model (Yellow 15) is on display at the National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, Scotland.
However, the model is not accurate and appears to be a composite of several originals.
  • The test pilot minifigure is probably meant to represent Hanna Reitsch. This figure is also included in set 5766.
  • The set was also released as a regular version with set number 5766.
